Foundational Theory
The Wall Hypothesis (1979)
On November 30, 1979, during the recording of what would become one of the best-selling albums of all time, an unnamed schoolmaster made a declaration that would reshape dinner tables forever:
"If you don't eat yer meat, you can't have any pudding. How can you have any pudding if you don't eat yer meat?!"
This wasn't merely a dining instruction — it was a fundamental axiom of conditional dessert theory. The statement establishes a strict prerequisite relationship: pudding access is gated by verified meat consumption. There is no ambiguity. There is no loophole.

Correlation Analysis
Meat Consumed vs. Pudding Satisfaction
Our data shows a near-perfect positive correlation between meat portion consumed and self-reported pudding joy levels.
Pudding joy measured on a proprietary Hedonic Dessert Scale (HDS). r² = 0.97. p < 0.001. Highly significant (and delicious).
Methodology
Our Research Methods
We employ only the finest, most rigorous techniques available to a fictional research institute.
Direct Observation
Trained dinner monitors are stationed at every cafeteria table. They watch you chew. They count your bites. They know if you've been naughty or nice (with your vegetables).
Plate Gravimetrics
Pre- and post-meal plate weighing with precision scales accurate to 0.01g. Any discrepancy between initial meat mass and residual mass triggers investigation.
Infrared Napkin Scanning
Following the 2003 Napkin Concealment Fraud Papers, all napkins are now scanned with thermal imaging to detect hidden meat. 94% detection rate.
